Jul 9 - Des Moines Register: The Anaheim Ducks on
Tuesday announced the hiring of the former Des Moines
Buccaneers coach Bob Ferguson to serve as assistant
general manager of their American Hockey League
affiliate in Iowa.

Omaha Gladiators Return
ANKENY, Iowa — The big news coming
out of the MHSHL spring meeting, Saturday, May 10, was
granting a request by the Omaha Gladiators to join the
League for the 2008-09 season. The Gladiators return
after a 5-year absence, bringing the total number of
teams in the circuit to 14. More
