RAPIDS — Fri, Sep 25: The Cedar Rapids Mustangs are excited to
announce that their team name has changed to the Cedar Rapids
RoughRiders. The change signals a new partnership between Cedar Rapids
high school hockey and the Cedar Rapids RoughRiders United States Hockey
League team.
The goal of this partnership is to bring both
organizations under the RoughRiders name to unify the programs in
purpose, and to promote hockey at all levels in Cedar Rapids.
The RoughRiders High School Hockey Team will
wear the same logo and colors as the USHL team.
This presents an incredible opportunity for all
hockey players in the Cedar Rapids area. The level of commitment shown
by the new RoughRiders owners to all hockey players in Cedar Rapids is
unprecedented and Cedar Rapids High School Hockey looks forward to a
long and successful relationship.
